Written and recorded between January 2017 and January 2019, Deficiencies is James Pagliaro’s debut album. Self-produced in between long hours at James’ day job, sometimes Deficiencies became a mountain to climb, but now we’re at the top everything is bright and breezy. In late 2016, James set out plans to put together an album of songs that was honest and open, that focussed on the harder sides of life. The album would be a flowing work akin to the back half of Abbey Road; a little foolhardy for a debut album, maybe, but Deficiencies was the result. Daren Pagliaro (The Mighty Bengahl) gifted an awesomely trippy solo on the 12-minute Deficient medley, but apart from that all is written by James.
